Terms of Service

Last updated October 12, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and FlightSimBuilder LLC (“we”, “us”) covering your use of FlightSimSocial: the website at flightsimsocial.com and its connection to the FlightSimBuilder Hub software. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use FlightSimSocial

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use the service.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information.
  • Keep your password and your paired Hub installation secure.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@flightsimbuilder.com if you think someone else is using it.
  • Handles that impersonate others or infringe someone's rights may be changed or reclaimed.

3. The Hub connection

Pairing the FlightSimBuilder Hub links it to your account, so it can upload flights on your behalf. Those flights count as your content under these terms. You can disconnect the Hub at any time in your settings. The Hub software itself is covered by its own license terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post: flights, notes, screenshots, airport photos and reviews, comments, messages and profile details.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce and distribute that content, and to create route maps and statistics from it, in order to run and promote FlightSimSocial, and in line with the visibility you choose. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for:

  • copies in backups until they expire;
  • content other people have already shared, for example in comments.

Only post content you have the right to share.

5. Community rules

Don't:

  • harass, threaten, or post hateful, sexually explicit or illegal content;
  • impersonate people or organizations, or post spam;
  • upload malware, or try to break into accounts or our systems;
  • scrape the site, or use automated access other than the official Hub;
  • interfere with the service or other people's use of it;
  • infringe other people's intellectual property or privacy.

We may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these rules, or that put the service or other people at risk.

6. Simulation only

FlightSimSocial is for flight simulation and entertainment only. Airport, route, map and performance information on the site may be incomplete or out of date. It must never be used for real-world flight planning or navigation.

7. Third-party names and data

Simulator and aircraft names belong to their owners. FlightSimSocial isn't affiliated with or endorsed by simulator publishers or aircraft manufacturers.

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Airport data comes from public sources.

8. Changes to the service

FlightSimSocial is currently free. We may add, change or remove features, or discontinue the service. If we shut it down, we'll give reasonable notice where we can, and a way to request your data.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using FlightSimSocial at any time, and delete your account yourself in Settings → Account & security (or email support@flightsimbuilder.com). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 4 (for content already shared), 6, 10, 11 and 12 continue to apply after your account ends.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that flights, statistics or content will be preserved.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, FlightSimBuilder LLC won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to US$100.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us arises from content you posted or from your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. If you continue using FlightSimSocial after a change, you accept the updated terms.
